A Third Victory for the Saudi Champions
Al-Hilal’s first football team triumphed 1-0 against Italian club Como in a pre-season friendly match.
The winning goal came from Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrović in the second half, marking
Al-Hilal’s third victory in four friendly encounters.
This result reflects the team’s strong preparation under the leadership of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus.
Jorge Jesus selected a starting lineup featuring Yassine Bounou as goalkeeper, with defenders
Hassan Tambakti, Khalifa Al-Dawsari, Renan Lodi, and Saud Abdulhamid.
The midfield comprised Nasser Al-Dawsari, Mohammed Kanno, and
Mohammed Al-Qahtani, while the attack was spearheaded by Salem Al-Dawsari,
Sergej Savic, and Aleksandar Mitrović.
In previous matches, Al-Hilal secured decisive wins against Austria’s Neusiedl am
See (6-0) and Qatar’s Al-Arabi (2-0), with a narrow 2-1 loss to South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns.
The team is scheduled to face Qatar’s Al-Duhail in their next friendly match on Wednesday.
